what do you think of the lyrics? honest opinion LOL?
Two girls were in your heart, but baby i want you to know
if u still think about them i’ll tore u apart,
it’s not just jealousy! but when i’m with ur all mine trust me i make u glow
n no one gets u better than me so you’ll always keep me if u were smart,
sure i’m not that good or into art, i keep no charts, or make any tarts ,
i’mma tell u what i do i can dance slow, but hey let’s go to the start,
lets go back one year ago, i use to n still will make ur mind blow,
n make u go oh oO, i know i can get any man to distroy his stupid sow,
n make me a sweat shirt so he’ll freakin sew,
even thoughgh i don’t like that but some of them bow,
n eat meat if i told them while it’s still raw,
or cut off a toe, n get his momma to throw,
i’m not a show but what should i do if everywhere i go there’ll be a crew,
or a bunch of ppl starin in a row,
or some gay sayin yo while he’s walkin in the street to his friends thinkin that they flow
i’m wishin that they just trip n go, cause they’re so damn slow
i like snow but skiin with any guy other than u i’ll say nono
hey i aint low or a freakin hoe, i’m just such a damn pro,
i’m sorry but any girl looks at u i’mma break her jow,
baby are we clear? so no chit chat with girls or hi hello

LOL HONEST OPINION XP !!

Not so good.

Haha, it’s a cool lyric with funny bits here and there, and some good rhymes and rhythms. However, there’s a whole lot more to song, or in this case, lyric writing, than just writing out lines wuth random rhymes to perhaps, a piece of melody. To those unfamiliar to the actual craft of songwriting, it may be surprising to find out just how much structure a song has to have.

Read up on song form and other aspects of songwriting or lyric writing from site such as www.musesmuse.com. They have some really helpful articles that will get you started. They also provide forums where you could post songs for critique. Alternatively, you could visit http://www.writerswrite.com/cgi-bin/song art.pl. It has some really useful articles teaching you how to write a song.

Like I said earlier, your lyric has some good lines and ideas but it lacks structure. Before you start writing a song, you might wanna ask yourself, "what genre do I want this song to be in?". In this case, it sounds like you want an upbeat hiphop or rap. I’m not familiar with these genres but I can give you a rough idea of what you should do to improve the ltric=)

First, every song has to have a hook. A hook is a line of words, attached with a melody, that will be what people will be remembering your song by. It normally appears in the chorus of a song. Now, song form. Many songs these days follow the structure, verse-chorus-verse-chorus-bridge-chorus. This may be different in rap, or not, but this is the most popular form songs take.

To put it simply, verses tell the story, the chorus is the main idea of what the song is talking about, its "message", if you will. Each verse follows the same structure set by you. More specifically, if verse 1 has four lines, where the first and second line has 9 syllables and the last two lines have 8 syllables, sybsequent verses should follow similar structure. Rhyme schemes follow this rule too. If verse 1 has an AABB rhyme scheme, verse 2 should have the same. This makes things much easier for the words to fit into the same melody. Yep, each verse shuld have the same melody. The chorus, which contains the hook, has a different melody from the verses, with probably a different tempo and all. The chorus should be the place where the message of the song kicks in. It’ll be the most powerful part of the song that will impact a listener and make him or her go humming to it even if the song isn’t playing at that time and place. It should have a different structure from your verses to make it distinguishable from the verses. It should have a different cadence, the natural rhthm of words, as well. The bridge is usually a short, transitional part of a song that gives a different perspective to a song. It should have a completely different melody from the rest of the song. It should be like "a breath of fresh air" before going back into the song, to make things more interesting and to keep the listener engaged.

I’ll just stop here. It’ll be much better if you read articles written by experienced songwriters. What I said might have been just a brief summary of those articles but it doesn’t beat the real thing. Hope this helps a little! Good luck!
