I read that book long ago but I’m certain that it was located in a fictional place. In a Kingdom, more precisely. Where magic exists.
So Ella was enchanted when she was just a baby so she couldn’t disobey an order.
Her evil stepsisters discovered the secret and always gave her orders so she became their slave.
She makes a journey and meets a prince and the level of love she felt for him made her break the enchantment because she couldn’t step away from him although they kept giving her orders to do that.

the plot is that ella was born and the fairy lucinda cursed her with obedience.Ella’s mother died and her father is always away,so Ella spends most of her time with the maid/cook who also happens to be her fairy godmother(although ella doesn’t find out until inquiring who it is).Then her father starts seeing a woman,O-something,and she has two horrible daughters,Hattie and Olive.Hattie,Olive,and Ella get sent to an academy or school or whatnot,and Hattie and Olive are cruel to Ella.So Ella leaves the school in search of the fairy lucinda to break the curse.

Is The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy a good stoner film?
I am a poor student with only channels 1 to 5 and this film is on tonight. Is it a good stoner movie?
It’s a very entertaining story, very funny, when it was serialised on the radio I tried never to miss an episode. Whether it will be a good film is another matter, my paper gives it three stars and says "A belated big-screen outing for Douglas Adams’ much-loved creation. While hit and miss, it’s so well-intentioned, it’s hard not to like." I would prefer to be in possession of all my faculties to watch it, but it is your choice and I expect you will enjoy it.

I was told I was going to be offered a job and then nothing?
I had a second interview last Thursday with the HR woman and another gentlemen I would be working with. My first interview with with the hiring mng. and another woman whom I would also be working with. On the second interview I was told that out of 50 resumes, they only interviewed 5 people and I was the only one
they were calling back. The HR woman told me that they were going
to offer me the job and then proceeded to tell me about benefits. and paying half of my Cobra until the 90 days kicked in and that she would put it in the offer. She also asked about me giving notice to my current employer. I told her he would be leaving for China next wk, which is now this week and she said, "I better get moving on this then". I didn’t hear from her and called yesterday afternoon and was
told that she would be out until Wednesday because her daughter had the flu. I left her a voice mail and asked her to please let me know either way. Should I contact the hiring manager??? My boss leaves tomorrow for China. Also, she never asked me for any references.
I thought I had this in the bag! I don’t want to jeopardize any chances I have but am very confused. They seemed like they really wanted me and I was the only one they were considering. Any advice? I hate the waiting game, although I know it is part of the process. What do you think?

Do not leave your present job until you have the new one tied down and do not leave your present job without giving notice. If the potential new job will wants to hire you but will not let you treat your old employer properly this is not the kind of place you should work at.

You could contact the hiring manager, but you don’t want to be too agressive. You don’t want to give off the impression that you don’t have patience. Since your boss is leaving for China however, I would contact someone else in HR or the hiring manager, but do it with respect.
