Is it depression? deep psychosis? HELP?!?
Okay so if you’re going to give me bull please do not answer this question because im pretty unstable right now and i am in no mood to deal with anything more. I just need someone to help because well…ill explain. I am having trouble getting past my last relationship. I am over him. I do not care whether he comes back this time or not. See he has seriously left me twice counting this time, and "broken up" with me 8 times all together in the past 6 months. We have a long distant relationship….or had. I live in the states and he lives in canada. We were fine for the first few months. We both have severe depression, and he refused to go to a doctor. So i’d help him as best as i could. We used to stay up talking to each other…and we were so close that we could literally feel one anothers arms even though we’re a country away. He’s written poems for me, and he used to play guitar and sing for me and i used to fall asleep to his voice…we help each other relax and stay sane. we kept one another happy and overall alive. i stopped him from killing himself and he gave me the happiness i have always wished to know. in my life time i have been abused every day countless times both emotional and physical and sexual and whatever else. he has been the only one to treat me like im…human. a few months ago i sent him pictures meant for his eyes only, and a friend of mine saw them. this friend had a crush on me so now every time he sees me he undresses me with his mind. the problem is that i have never been comfortable w/ a guy sexually or physically because when i was younger i was sexually abused by my best friend who subsequently killed himself for hurting me*. and then his brother died in my arms of drug overdose and they’re "brother" *best friend" my ex ran away because he was a supposed vampire…i dont know. he left me one night after singing i woke up n all there was was a rose and a note. anyways my current ex and i…well after those pictures i lost almost all my "friends". my ex loved them and well last month he started feeling really depressed. more then usual i mean. he started smoking which made it all even worse. i kept him happy and he still kept saying he loved me. he still blushed every time he got me to smile. he still cried every time i hurt. he still wished every night that i could be there in his arms at night in his cold room. he still sang to me. but he spent more time out with his newly found friends. *before me he only had 2 friends who he barely saw or talked to…* and well his best friend used to say that we keep each other alive and that we belong together. a few months ago *before the pictures* my parents stopped allowing me to talk to him so we can/could only talk 5 nights a week at most…2 at least. that made everything more difficult for the both of us. slowly he started to come online later and later and sometimes not at all. eventually he started getting angry with me for no reason, and well then things were fine again. we talked and were so in love. hed get panic attacks whenever hed miss me to much…n the begining of this year he sang to me nonstop for 4 hours n played guitar n talked bout how im the most amazing girl hes ever met. he said that i am his dream girl…his perfect sweet babe…n the next day…not even 17hrs later he said he doesnt feel anything n i could kill myself and he wouldnt care at all…i asked if he still thought of me the same…if i was still his perfect/dream girl and he said yes but for some reason he doesnt feel shit for me and wouldnt care if i was hurt or dead…and now he gets depressed and angry with himself because he still thinks about me daily…hes trying to force himself to forget about me…but he cant n he keeps getting angry with himself for it…n he doesnt care tht its hurting me…n doesnt care tht its hurting himself…this has happened once before n he ended up coming back n we were fine, but last time lasted a week. this time its been almost a month. how can someone go from naming your future 2-4 kids, planning ur beach wedding, and travel vacation honey moon, and schools and apartment and even the bed you would sleep on and the bathroom design one day…and then entirely lose all emotion and feeling toward you the next? *and yes all his emotions were real…i know him…and that look in his eyes when he talked about marring me *he proposed to me last july* was not fake…he meant every single word…i dont know whats happening, but i want it to all be better again* Does anyone know whats going on? i feel he has alexithymia…n he also gets angry whenever he starts to think of coming back…n tries to avoid me cuz he knows if we talk he will come back…which makes no sense because if you know you want to be with someone, and they make you happy…why is he pushing me away? why is he lying to himself sayin he dun care when he still thinks abt me often? y does he get angry with himself for thinking of me? is he depressed when he t

the problem is that we cant see each other until june a earliest. and also…hes trying to erase me entirely from his life and his memory so hed rather not see me. i dont know what to do. i dont know whats wrong with him i just…i really wish this could all just be like it was a month ago. to think just a month ago he was planning a wedding and kids…and now hes planning on how to erase my entire existence.
I am sure you still mean a lot to him, but he is probably dealing with his own emotional distress right now. It must be very hard because you guys have such a long distance relationship, that can make thing almost impossible to deal with. I don’t know what advice to give you except to say if you want things to work you need to go see him. You need to be together and talk to one another face to face, the long distance thing can cause to many issues and problems, if there is anyway you can go see him I would suggest you try that because things seem to difficult right now the way they stand. And like I said I am sure he still loves you it is just that he is dealing with his life and you are not there. What I mean by not there is you to can’t go out together or go for a walk or anything like that, having the long distance thing can be very hard. I wish you the best of luck and hope things work out for you.

I WISH I could somehow force myself to like the girls’ names, but I can’t. The only ones I like are Lora Eve and Lilja Belle, which are both beautiful [although I prefer Lila (LYE-luh) Belle. The j throws me off. Yeah, I'm just that American].
I’d prefer it if Ansley was kept a place [there's a city in Nebraska called Ansley, and I'm sure that it's legit, but I still hate it], and not used as a name. Especially since I know someone named Ainzleigh [GAH!!!].

What did you think of it?
I was somewhat disappointed, it was meant to be set on the world of Caprica nearly 60 years before the Cylon/human war, but felt more like earth in the near future, (cars, suits & ties, clubs, diners etc. even mafia types that wouldnt look out of place in an 50s movie)

It certainly wasn’t as highly energised as BG, but i reckon it could get much better later on if they start tying in plot devices from that series into it and showing how the first cylon war came about. It’d be nice to see other characters as their younger selves too if at all possible. But i agree, first episode is nothing to get overly worked up about. I suppose their trying to take a new look at how they can develop the Battlestar Universe.

constructive critiscm please, im 13 so bare with me, my question is if its good ( and if so should i continue and what should the story be about ) or if i should start over with a better paragraph
I swept her carmel hair across her face, behind her ear, and leaned into to kiss her. Nicholes soft, lush lips pressed against mine gently for a brief second. Pulling away, I smiled. " Love you," I whispered in her ear. "Forever?". "Of course, Love!" I chuckled. She pressed herself againt my chest and we peered out across the vast, blue oblivion of a sea. All of a sudden, Nichole faded away and my hand fell to my lap where it had been on the small of her back. I looked around, confused, then panicked. Hopping to my feet, I yelled her name. The ocean turned crimson red, the sky suddenly dark with near by swirling tornadoes. My shirt whipped against my chest, my hair fell into the sharp wind. I clutched my chest, now slightly throbbing with a pressing pain. The sand under my feet turned a haunting grey, and i tightned my flail of a grasp at my chest. My heart was racing. Falling to my knees, I wailed in agony. What was happening to me?!

Why won't my Blackberry Desktop Manager v. 4.5 buttons(like "application uploader", etc.) Work ?
Ok. This is sooo Mind-boggling and I’ve been trying to figure it out ALL day.
So for starters, my phone model is a Blackberry Pearl 8120 from T-mobile. I have an Acer netbook, so i installed the Blackberry Desktop Manager off of Blackberry’s website. I previously had v.4.6, and it worked before. I have uninstalled DIFFERENT versions (including v.4.6) about FIVE times today. I even made sure all of the registry files were deleted and everything. This v.4.5 downloaded without any issues. Another thing is When I CONNECT my Blackberry pearl via USB, my PC recognizes it. I already checked the serial port drivers and updated them and everything. When I open the desktop Manager, it says it’s "Connected" at the top and everything. Although, the bottom of the desktop manager doesn’t say a pin and there isn’t a MENU bar at the top. My issue is that whatever I click on the Blackberry Desktop Manager, will not work. The cursor will change and the button will be highlighted when the mouse is over it, but no matter how many times I click it, it won’t do anything! I’ve looked at forums,troubleshooters, and posts. Please Help. I just want to upload some .alx file themes that I downloaded. P.S. I don;t have the Internet service on my Blackberry, so I don’t want to use OTA links. Thanks so much and God Bless ya!

I met a girl and had been having a relationship with her for a few weeks when i realized the relationship wasn’t going to work out. I started telling her that I love her but that we couldn’t be together. She then started making threats that she was going to commit suicide. I reported it to the police station. They told me if i really believed she would do it I could go to the hospital and petition for a 302. The first day I didn’t do it. On the second day when she again said she would kill herself and she grabbed the knife and ran in the bathroom and came out with her hand bandaged I again went to the police and reported it. This time I went to the hospital and petitioned for the 302 but it was denied. At that point I decided to go home and be done with her but she came to my house and again started threatening suicide. I tried to stop her. She left my house and walked back to my house the next morning uninvited. She lives over 2 miles away. She then started demanding I give her my cell phone. I did just to prevent her harming me or my vehicle. She went through it , got upset and started crying and carrying on. To prevent any mishaps I offered to take her home since she demanded I come home with her and stay there. She told me not to go to the police or she would do something. I went to hospital just to get to a phone so I could call cops and she broke my phone and destroyed my windshield wiper arm. I then went to get a PFA but she told me if i didn’t drop it she would charge me for rape. On christmas eve she flipped out on me and broke my laptop and destroyed my windshield then she called the police to claim it was a domestic dispute and told them I hit her. She continues to harass me and my family. The police at this point refuse to do anything about my complaints. She has even gone as far as try to get me arrested in another state by contacting people I know and telling lies. She went to my house and stole my car and then cut the spark plug wires as well as other wires. The police won’t give me a report. Now they have charged me for harassment and I have never hit her but yet the summons says I hit, punched, kick,…etc. her. What can I do? I don’t want to be framed in court. I just want my possessions repaired and for her to leave me alone. Please help. She has now come to my house and broke in and hit me and still the police won’t do anything.
On the one hand, given her complaints and property damage, she probably is not obsessed with you anymore. On the other, however, you’re screwed if she decides to continue. This is really a personal relationship question, but from a legal standpoint you are vulnerable to her claims.
First of all, the police cannot refuse to take a report. They can try and talk you out of it; they can even say they won’t, but if you politely insist they must document it somewhere.
You need to document everything. Write out a chronological history in as much detail as possible, including names of anyone you came into contact with at various events (doctors, cops, etc.) and contact your local prosecutor’s office and provide them with the record. When anything happens, write down what happened in as much detail as possible. If she calls you, write down what she said, what you said, etc., and telephone the local police communications center. (I’m assuming a city, not a small town.) Don’t use an emergency number unless it is a true emergency, but most calls to every large police agency are recorded with a time stamp so if she does follow through on a claim you can refer back to her threat. They may not like that you are calling, but just tell them you were told to make a confirmable record that you are calling to complain.
I don’t know what a 302 or PFA is, but from context I assume that 302 is an involuntary commitment and a PFA is some kind of harassment restraining order. If you dropped the application because of her threat then you gave her control over you.
You can sue her in small claims court for the damaged property. It will open the can of worms, but you will have to confront these issues sooner or later.

Thank the feminists, back in the day a good ol fashion azz beating would put her back in her place. Woman have so much power and can just lie about anything, it will get believed. It’s sickning how men can go from having so much power to literally losing it all if a woman claims foul play in any fashion.
If a woman knows the rights buttons to push, the right cards to play, this is hand you’ll rarely win.
I would move laff, she sounds like one of those vindictive woman in the lifetime movies.

get cameras, even a digital camera from Wal-mart, or a web cam..just something to record her behavior. also, shes psycho, her threats are only that, if she came out bandaged up, odds are that nothing was done. as far as the damage to your property, get the video evidence, call the police and say (especially next time she gets a knife out) that shes threatening your life and her own, shes destroyed your stuff (when it happens) and ask to press charges. and if push comes to show, get restraining order against her for yourself and the rest of the family, that way once she violates the order, bam off to jail. but there has to be evidence of a threat on your safety and your families safety to get the order!…but its an easy way to deal with the problem, also don’t answer the door or phone.

Anybody here like Agatha Christie's Miss Marple?
I am a fan of the Miss Marple audiobooks but I only have one (4:50 from Paddington) after losing another (A Pocket full of Rye). Can anyone think of some others I would like and where to find them cheap? (HINT: You can ask tons of questions only on ONE! I only spent 5 points instead of 15!)
Greetings! Years ago, I used to love reading Agatha Christie. I read at least thirty or so of her books. I liked Miss Marple, but I enjoyed Poirot better. The only one that really jumps out at me is "Nemesis", which was Miss Marple’s last story and was posthumously published.
Agatha Christie, at one time, was the most prolific authoress in the world. I don’t know if anyone has taken her place, but she has over 80 books written, so there are tons of Christie books around.
My suggestion is to go to your used paperback bookstore and see what they have. My hunch is that they would have several shelves just by Agatha Christie, and you could get one for well under a buck.

I know that A Pocketful of Rye and Miss Marple’s Final Cases
are audiobooks.
I don’t know if my two Miss Marple’s favorites, The Mirror Crack’d and The Moving Finger, are in audiobook form.
The Mirror was made into a movie, if you’re interested. With a middle-aged Elizabeth Taylor in it.

Miss Marple is a darling, and all of her stories are great. One in particular is chillingly superb — Sleeping Murder. It’s not standard Christie, but it’s so good.
The Mirror Crack’d, A Murder is Announced, The Body in the Library, and Murder at the Vicarage are all excellent, classic Marples as well.
Check out Poirot, and the Tommy and Tuppence series (N or M is excellent) while you’re at it!
A Christie short novel without any of her standards is Ten Little Indians (And Then There Were None, british title) and one of my absolute favorites of hers. She has superb characterization, and seeing the settings evolve as she wrote through the decades is very cool.

What are some of the tools that Citizens can use against Police using excessive force?
Incidents of Police brutality and excessive use of force seems to have become part of our society and getting more often. The situation seems to be a losing one for the citizens and public. After all a person with no obvious power of authority to punish or harm anyone is given a pistol and taser device and then at some point he/she decides to use these tools against people with no means of being able to protect themselves.
I know that there may be legal remedies such as complaint and law suit that can take life time and although sounds realistic it is a total joke. Let’s face the scenario, when a person’ right is violated by the Government, the case involves attorneys which can cost exuberant amounts of money. The Government has Counsel paid by the people to protect itself while the person/people have to pay out of their own pocket to be represented. What’s wrong with this scenario?
I recently read an article from somewhere in the Middle-East where 2 police officer was involved beating up a women with baton in the street for not wearing the required head scarf correctly. Within minutes a large crowd gathered to witness the incident but instantly the crowd attacked the policeman, took away the baton and began beating them in the same sever manner that the policeman was beating the woman until some other members of the public stopped the crowd to allow the policeman to escape. I was then thinking that although beating a policeman is not tolerated everywhere and carries a very harsh sentence these people in a somewhat third world country had the right idea about protecting the public. After all these policeman did not have the power and authority to punish anyone but they did so. What’s right with this picture?
In certain clear situations involving kids, elderly and others, why shouldn’t citizens be able to determine if a police officer is using excessive force, abusing someone and stop them on the spot? Although waiting for other law enforcement to arrive to relief the problem is what the system wants us to do but it may be too late for the persons who are being abused by the cops as it is been in many instances. After all, when its over, we all know that the Cop will not be in trouble and will be doing it again. Worse than this is the fact that there are no real remedies for anyone who is physically and mentally abused by persons who were supposed to protect them.
I think in certain instances when it is clear that cops are using excessive or improper use of force the public should step in and protect the innocent from further harm even if it means that there may be consequences for them. We don’t live in a perfect society but man made problems like this can have quick easy remedies if the good citizens are alert and able to help each other. Some one may say that "police have the authority to do whatever they want and if they do wrong it is up to the system to correct them and not the public" It seems that the system is not working or doing anything about the remedy to this situation because the instances of Police brutality and excessive use of force is sky rocketing. As stated in certain situations (certainly not all instances when there is no harm to anyone by police), but if the citizens get involved and restrain the officers from the wrongful conduct and protect the public. What is wrong with this?
Anyone knows of the legal way of combating this situation even if it involves breaking the law by a small degree. Remember if the Police breaks the law and hurts someone or even kill them it will be white washed by the system. If we the people stop the mad police officer from breaking the law and harming the citizens, may go to jail but eventually would be released for protecting the public and the peace. Am I right about this?
What is your realistic remedy to this problem which seems to be occurring everyday?
