I woke up from my dream and couldn't move…?
It started with me walking down a path in a park with trees and park benches lining the sidewalk and everyone I would pass I could hear their thoughts, like I was psychic or something. Then the path ended and I was at the top of a hill and there were flowers everywhere, sort of like a valley. So I layed down and rolled down the hill and at the bottom was an old lady sitting on a park bench and she said "the meaning of life is to do just do whatever you want". I realized then that I was dreaming but I just couldn’t wake up and I realized that the only way I can escape this dream is to find my little sister and hit her because that was the only way for me to wake up. So I went to my old highschool and was searching everywhere for her and when I found her she said that when I hit her I would end up on the roof of a famous church in our town. And I believed her for some reason even though I knew I was dreaming. So I planned out in my head, consciously, how I would get home from the church since the city buses don’t run until 6:00. So when I eventually hit her I woke up and my entire body was really tingly and when I tried to move I just couldn’t, it took at least a minute until I could move my limbs. What happened there?…
If you’re still somewhat in a dream like state you could have still been paralized. When a person is dreaming they are pretty much paralized because if we weren’t we’d be moving all over the place. It happened to me once. I thought I was pretty awake, but I couldn’t move either. That’s what I found out it was.

sleep paralysis. your brain pretty much shuts off your body. its natural so do not worry. I dont believe it has to do with anything about the actual dream.

Oh gosh, that is such a horrible feeling!!! I had a dream like that too! Dreaming of being paralyzed may indicate the dreamer feels
helpless in controlling a situation at hand. The dreamer should note what else is taking place in the dream at the time of the paralysis for further interpretation. It could also be that you suddenly became more conscious and your body was still paralyzed by sleep (this is a natural occurence — or we would all be sleepwalking every night).

I get this all the time!!
It terrifies me!!
Apparently its called sleep paralysis!
This is when you brain wakes up before your body and that’s why you cant move-its like a delay that your brain cant send signal to your limbs as your body is still asleep this ends up with you feeling weak and lifeless. I often try to scream to awake my partner but nothing comes hap pend
Its scary and happens to me at least twice a week.
It has happened that often that I have learnt how to control it, I can feel myslef about to wake up but my body is still weak. So I build up all my energy so that I can make myself jump so that I fully awake.
Type sleep paralysis into google and read about it to see if it sounds like what happened to you!
